Is this a saltwater tank?

If the tubes are hard, these might be small tubeworms (harmless, although a nusiance to have to clean off the gladd all the time). This could be a Pectinaria: (see almost at the bottom of the page: http://home2.pacific.net.ph/~sweetyummy42/hitchworms.html ) or young Vermetid: http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/worms/photoalbum_photo_view?b_start=7

If the tubes are soft and jelly-like, it might be a colonial tunicate: http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/tunicates/view
