8800GTS daws almost up to 10amps on +12V rail. Depending on stepping, your q6600 may draw up to almost 9 amps on the +12V rail also. A PSU with 30amps total on the +12V rails should be able to run you rig stable all day long. Focus on the +12V rail output and you won't go wrong.
BUT of course, the bigger capacity gives you plenty of elbow room for upgrades and "bling-blings".

enable me placed it this manner: your domicile could have 3 hundred amp provider (which, at a hundred and twenty volts, comes out to approximately 36000 watts), in spite of the fact that it will save in basic terms your refrigerator and freezer working superb in case you're away on holiday. same distinction with a PSU. Electrically speaking, you are able to no longer have a PSU that is too enormous. $$$-smart, maybe, yet no longer electrically. wish that facilitates.

I would go with a better reputed brand- Seasonic, Corsair, higher-end FSPs, etc.
8gb of RAM? Are you running Vista 64-bit? Video / 3D editing?
32-bit Vista or XP can only use 3gb.
