I would like to leave it on (esp; as there is a check thing of some kind which was on when I was given the thing and if not stopped by touching key within 7 seconds it runs and it truncates (whatever that is) my files and whatnot - sometimes I think it mucks up programmes)- but I do now turn off following the final crash of an expensive computer (sob sob)to ensure security, and if I didn't petal I would make sure I didn't tell people I left it on - get me?

The only time I would leave it running without me infront of it is if I decided to watch something on TV and fell asleep during the programme. If I'm planning to be away from it for more than 10 minutes, I switch it off. It's all electricity which costs money.

I turn my computer off when I go to bed. but during the day it's on all the time, even if i'm not using it.

I turn it off but I know alot of people who leave there's all all the time. I just feel better if its shut down.....I think its personal preference.

Unless I'm downloading a large file, I shut it off. Saves money.
