Not a school reunion but last year I went to an Air Force reunion...guys I hadn't seen since '72 !
I found it depressing really....they were dwelling on the past where I had long since moved on !
Made up my mind there & then that I wouldn't be going to any more !

I went to my ten year reunion a week and a half ago,
It was actually pretty cool, I'd highly recommend going.
THe turnout was pretty low, we had it on two different days and i went to the barbecue and the other one was at a bar the day before, there was only 29 out of 165 that showed up. like not one person was an asshole or any of that, THere was one guy that had like gained probably 100 pounds an lost most of his hair, I did not recognize him.
THere was a few chicks that had gained a lot of weight,
However, their was a few that you would have said daaaaaaaaaaamn! looking a them now, Like I'd rather have them now than then, seriously, THere were several that i did not know well at all that were hot.
I'd highly recommend going, cause unlike high school "you can leave if not interested"
Oh by the way i was a total loser in high school, played no sports, graduated with a 1.94, and had a limited amount of friends.

Hell ya, I laugh at all those dorks that called me a dork all through school. Most all the people I see now that I went to school with are either fat, out of shape, dope heads or alcoholics. Look Im not saying that Im all that but Im in shape, I go to work every day, I pay my bills on time, well most of them anyway and most important I take care of my 11 yr old son who is also my best friend and I wish I could say the same for the rest of them. Ya The So Called Beautiful People.

I haven't been to a reunion of sorts, but I have met people I went to school with occasionally, and Yeah I think to myself they got hit with the stick real hard. But that stick unfortunately will eventually catch up with us all one day.

In the past yes, but after a couple of reunions it started to dawn on me that it was pretty ridiculous to pay $40.00 to go hang out with a bunch of people I really couldn't stand 25 years ago. I still see my close friends and we all look pretty good considering.

No but I read about a reunion for my year in the paper.
All the girls I remembered as high achievers are now housewives. I wonder what was the point of all that education ?

I only went to one. I had a great time but i was quite gobsmacked by how much people had aged beyond recognition. I had to ask others, 'whose that? And whose that?' Some were quite successfulll business people and they quite honestly looked like sh.t. Whereas i always kept my young attitude and was easy to recognise. Was actually quite chuffed that everyone knew who i was. There's a lot to be said for success. Doesn't always pay does it?

I went to my 30th HS reunion..........Wow, what an eye peeler!!! All the "jocks" were fat, bald and drunks, all the cheerleaders looked like John Travolta as Edna Turnblad in the new movie Hairspray..........It was really depressing.......and NO, I won't be going again......Oh, and if those people who didn't like me as a teenager, what in the hell would make them think that they'd like me as an adult...'Nuff said......Enjoy your Labor Day!!!
