I have a light pain in my stomach that doesn't go away and I have no idea what it is. It feels more like gas pains than any thing else but I haven't got gas or don't need to go to the toilet. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and the pain has only been there for the past week and some time makes it hard for me to move my legs. I have no spotting so i'm not scared of miscarriage and it's not a cramp like pain any way. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow should I mention it to them and see if they know any thing or wait til I go to my dr 4 days later? I'm just confused as to what it is... any help would be appreciated :)

I myself am 36 weeks pregnant, and for the second time. So i can certainly relate to all the weird and troubling pains that come with pregnancy. As always if something is truly concerning you, you should bring it up to any medical professional that you feel will give you an informed answer. however in my experience it seems that i had a very similar pain if not exactly the same. The answer that i received was that constant yet troubling pain was simply a stretching of the round ligament. Also this is common and can happen as early as 10 weeks. i hope that gives you a little peace. And as always if it is something you are truly concerned with call your doctor.

The ultrasound tech can take video of the area which is causing you pain--that's a good idea. But I don't think you should wait another 4 days to see your dr. I don't think it's serious, but if it were me, I'd want to hear that from a professional.

If I had any of those problems, I would go to the ER ASAP. You can't mess around with pregnancy like that. see a doctor.

sweetie, you should call your doctor and tell him/her about the pain. it may not be anything but with pregnancy you never know. it could be early signs of labor. do yourself a favor and talk to your doc.
