An AP story quotes Elizabeth Edwards, the wife of Sen. John Edwards, as saying the following, “I don't know where it [Republican hatred of Hillary Clinton] comes from. I don't begin to understand it. But you can't pretend it doesn't exist, and it will energize the Republican base. Their nominee won't energize them, Bush won't, but Hillary as the nominee will. It's hard for John to talk about, but it's the reality.”
Everything that Mrs. Edwards says in that quote is true. Everything. Including the part about it being something hard for Sen. Edwards to talk about. That’s the theme of the Edwards campaign. When there is something that requires backbone to say, let Elizabeth say it instead of John.

If John Edwards does not succeed in becoming the Democratic presidential candidate then it's because of his wife. If he would only get his wife out of it! I heard about Elizabeth Edwards long before I heard about John.. for a second there I thought she was running! if John Edwards is reading this: Tell your wife to take a walk!

This one's easy ... NOPE! I believe Mr. Edwards is all gabspeak, and nothing to back it up. His wife, bless her health fight, has more stones than he does.
The right has a GOOD reason to hate Hillary, more than 1, and she alone is responsible for creating that hatered. It doesn't takke a whole village to raise a child, it takes 2 parents, what happened to Vince Foster, what happened with those missing FBI files from her office, she was behind Travelgate, and her laughable credentials to be Commander in Chief ? Watch how mant people bail out of the military if , God forbid, she gets elected !

To bad we will never know. They only way Edwards could get the nomination is for Clinton and Obama to drop out of the race and that will not happen.

Nope. Funny how Elizabeth is another Hillary and yet she doesn't understand the Republican hatred of Hillary. Is it because she is so much like her?

John Edwards doesn't have the backbone to be dog catcher. I'm surprised he has the backbone to stand up.

Come on. It's just smart politics for him to get someone else to say that kind of thing. It's not that he's afraid. It's that he knows it will lose him votes, and it's not an issue of principle for him to say things like that.
The real problem is that he lacks the intellect to be president, because he thinks that trade barriers are the answer to all the nation's economic problems.

not for top place of work, not for low place of work. His mendacity, cheating, and absence of sensitivity in the direction of his former spouse have condemned him to the trash heap of politics. He needs to come returned up with a gimmick alongside the lines of Al Gore and his worldwide warming (this is an completely distinctive talk yet suffice it to declare that Gore exploited human beings's fears for inner maximum benefit). perhaps he can start up a "shop the cockroaches" enterprise.
