My friend wants to put a slideshow of like six or seven of his pics as the layout on his myspace and we were wondering how to do it.

There's a number of different ways you can make a slideshow. You can create one using http://www.photobucket.com [they offer some features to make your own], or you can create your own .gif file, which is a bunch of pictures flashing over and over in rotation on one pane. You can make one here:
