It's never been confirmed, but rumors are that Savage had inappropriate relations with Stephanie at some point. Again, this is just a rumor, but I wouldn't doubt if it is true to some extent.
Savage seems to be the only wrestler Vince refuses to do business with. Even wrestlers who have left on bad terms have been brought back.
