Buy a lot of land(at least 5-10 acres), build a 5 bedroom, environmentally friendly home on it and turn the rest of the property into a nature/wildlife habitat.

Wow, that's a really good question. I never really thought about that. I would probably redo most of my house to make it look really nice. By doing that it would force me to throw away all this old stuff that is useless that I keep for no reason, so I can make room for all the new stuff. I would probably go on a mega shopping spree too. OR I would start a deli. As random as that sounds, I have always wanted to start a small restaurant, and if I had an extra million dollars that would be really fun...and then I would go on a mega shopping spree too. Nice Question ;)

Spend it on worthwhile things, such as a car, house, education, etc. I might thrown in a new guitar :). But seriously, a million dollars should not just sit in the bank. It should be used to buy things that are necessary and of value.

I would buy new toys for the classrooms at a small private preschool... I would take bums to lunch... I would leave random $20 bills under the windshield whippers on cars... I would take my grandparents on an international vacation... I would donate musical instruments to public elementary schools... I would take bums to dinner... I would offer to pay someones college education... I would renovate an old beautiful church... I would buy my mom fancy chocolates...

find a place to call Home, and share it with the S.I.D.S foundation....but first a home so I don't have to sleep in my car any longer. 54 years old and homeless after working all my life until I became ill. I tent camp when warm outside and sleep in my car when it's cold. Hard life for an old Nana like me.

I'd buy an average sized house for my Mom, and make sure that there was no extra payments that needed to be paid for on the house. I'd decorate each room to an extent, leaving room for the furniture she already has, and then I'd surprise her with the brand new, fabulous house and give her the remaining money. My Mom's done so much for me in my life and she really deserves something nice..
I really wish I had $1,000,000.00 to give her...
