Find out how much it would cost to ship the item to Nigeria, communicate through the ebay message service without showing your actual email address and DO NOT SHIP until the paypal payment hits. There is no earthly reason ever to give anyone your bank information. Have them send a paypal payment. If they can't do it, they were not legit.

This is one for both ebay and paypal. Contact ebay and tell them your concern. If payment has been made through paypal and this is a verified address as your note indicates, I could also contact paypal and ask them for advice here. You would certainly hate to unfairly treat someone because of an address, but Nigeria's relationship with the Ibnternet should encourage you to go slowly here. Good luck.

Yes! Never give out your banking information on the internet, to a someone who has no credentails. There are safe ways to do transactions on the internet and thats not one of them. Anything from Nigeria, is most likely a scam. Because numerous scams have been coming out of there. Just delete it. I'm sure he can find what he is looking for closer to him, lots of options.

Oh yeah, it's a scam. They always try to talk about a pastor or preacher in some way to make you feel like you can trust them. Another thing, don't ever do business with someone from the Camaroon Islands. It's ALWAYS a scam! Oh, and they often say "God Bless" and say "okay?" a lot throughout the email.

Definite scam. Be careful of dealing with anybody from Nigeria. With all the scams out there, I will never deal with them. I will never even ship there as an ebay seller.

Yes, this is a scam.
Do not send them any of your bank info.
Almost Always when they ask about your bank or personal information, and make it sound urgent -- that is a scam.
