I'm not married but I suppose gobbling it up and burping really loud can be a compliment. (It is considered rude not to burp after a meal in china.)

yup cuz it's kind of a hassle to work & put effort & some love into the cooking for the lover, & the way you appreciate their cooking is when you eat their cooking, even if it's okayish...just open your eyes a little like a "WOAHH!" surprise in your eyes opening & looking at the food, & chew starting slowly kinda feeling the food definitally then chewing faster & faster like it's addicting. & go "mmm, wow this is like realllyyy good..Your a pretty goood cook babe" & have a smile & look at them dreamily as you keep eating & this is optional, but you'll probly get some more brownie points by scarfing it down in big scoops..but I say it's optional cuz it may make you look a tad bit slobbish.

I'm the one who always cooks dinner, so she will always set the table to fit the meal. Last night was fancy, so she got out the tablecloth and some nice candles and we ate with the lights out. After that, she cleaned up the dishes...that showed me a lot of appreciation : )

I show my girlfriend appreciation by helping her cook. We cook as a team, as I think it should be done this way. Afterwards, we both clean up the table and I thank her for helping me cook. It's quite fun to cook together, we always joke around in the kitchen.

My lover rarely cooks so when she does I always get a little worried. One time she made macaroni and cheeese the neighbors dog wouldn't eat! But she does whip up some good McDonalds every now and then.
