Pretty much. Yeah. If you're married, one example would be how to budget your combined incomes, assuming you both work.

Another example would be you want to go to one place for your vacation and your husband, or significant other wants to go somewhere else.

Others:
Who does which chores?
Who does the grocery shopping?
Who writes the checks to pay the bills?
Whether to send your children to public or private school?
Whether to order in pizza or not.

Because we are not the same and don't think the same. But if people tell the truth and are decent, most things get worked out.
