i was going to alter this question, slightly;but i think some of you can better see where im "coming-from" with it.
Some of you believe that for every question, there is an answer.
If you do,you will not agree with this that there are as many false answers to questions as true ones.
i and others believe this is the case because, not so much as
a faulty "vision" or dream(!),but because those who agree that
there is an answer to every question,have had much too much faith in their teaching/education;
What i mean is that they are neo-darwin-ists,probably and
realistically "without realising it".
My apologies for this little (non)questionable detail,to my genuine question"Why do you not think that ther are as many
false answers to a question as there are true ones?

In a strictly logical sense there have to be more false answers than true ones. Any given question will generally have one, two, maybe three correct answers tops normally, right? (In general.) At the same time, any given question may frequently have an infinite number of incorrect answers. All answers that are not correct (even vaguely or only partially correct) are, by definition, incorrect, aren't they?
I'm assuming, of course, that you're referring to questions that have a definite answer, or are at least answerable.

I think what we have here is a distinction between paths to truth and paths to illusion.

In logic a variable has 2 truth values, True and False. (Some argue that there are three with the addition of "Not true")

As such an answer really only has two possibilities either it is True or it is False. The False portion will always be filled with more possibilities as the True option only has one. (unless of course you live in a universe comprised of only two objects or events in which case your assertion would be true.)

Example: I am thinking of an animal... a cat.
Now list the false options...

Im going to venture a guess here and may be wrong, but it sounds to me like you may be referring to the manner in which we reach these conclusions. Logical Possible Worlds are immense and infinite, there indeed are many ways to reach a true conclusion and just as many ways to reach wrong conclusions.

I am not talking of using a given set of premesis to find the logical conclusion. I am talking of already having the conclusion and finding how many ways there are to achieve it.

You will soon find that they both are indeed infinite and are limited only by our ability to find them.

Im no master of Philosophy... yet.

But I hope this helps.

I believe there is an equal amount of false and true answers. Not everyone knows the true answer and what they say can be false. Also, not everyone think alike, so how do we know which ones are false and true unless it's a direct answer question.

There are more false answers than true to most questions. Just look through this site and you will soon see how true that is.

there are no false answers, i think. only different opinions. might be stupid opinions or unrealistic or realistic or whatever, but it's just how one sees the question. you don't have to accept every answer as a true one. accept that this is somebody's belief or conclusion

all questions are true and all questions are false. this is the truth. only false thinking creates false answers.
