Yea, I was the 3rd car in a 4 car pileup on ice almost 11 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. It was bad. And so scary with being pregnant. After several weeks of healing baby and I were fine. But to this day I absolutely hate driving in the winter. First couple of times it snows or gets icy every winter I practically have a panic attack when I get in the car. It sucks!

I have had heaps of traumas. I got raped in high school. Was in a very bad, physically abusive marriage. Lost my job because I was falsely accused of something (got a small compo for that). My father died a horrible death from an asbestosis related decease (mesiothemioma) and there is more.
All this trauma has affect me. I am not the same after each of them. It takes years to cope with what happened and your friend might not be exactly the same again. Please be kind to him, he can't help it.

Hey Saint's in 08, I hope you name means the New Orlean's Saints will win in 08. I think losing everything you own is a trauma. Hurricane Katrina has taken 2 years off my life, but it's all good. I just add two years for the two years for the Katrina effect. Go Saints!

Yes, when I had to crawl into a hospital bed and hold my 15 year old daughter as she died of kidney failure. Also, when I had to go into my mother's house and clean the bathroom where she had committed suicide. Those were 2 very big traumas for me, but I survived and am a stronger person because of them.

Not really.
The most trauma I've had was when I got a concussion in physical education.
It hurt like hell, but I got to stay home for a few days and SLEEP!

Suffering Hurricane Katrina. Now when I hear it raining badly, I get really scared of losing electricity because I've known people to be without electricity for weeks, but we've been without it for days.
