Republicans can't admit that they are the hypocrites! They have to blame someone! Who else but us Democrats would be so fitting??
I just think that someone wants to push the blame elsewhere - they have "Bushitis": the inability to accept blame for their actions.
I hope that it isn't terminal. . .

Larry Craig did something that he shouldn't have done and the Republicans don't want someone serving as our representative to be in that type of position doing that type of thing. The Dems love talking about the Reps fall from grace and the "scandalous behavior" of Larry Craig. You see it on the news constantly. When Bill Clinton, Gary Hart, Gerry Stubbs, Barney Franks, Ted Kennedy, Jim McGreevey and many more Dems are caught doing all kinds of illicit behaviors and lying about it, they are not punished more than getting a mere slap on the wrist. This is wrong. It should be equal opportunity bad behavior and equal opportunity consequences. Both parties should demand that those displaying these bad behaviors be forced to resign. Republicans at least have the sense to get rid of the bad representatives who do these acts. We don't make excuses, we simply want them out. We don't want any of them representing us. The Dems do not have the same values. They cover up, make excuses and say, "if it has to do with their private lives, we don't think it should matter." Well, it does matter and it should matter. (If Barney Franks and Gerry Stubbs did nothing wrong, then why were they censured? Why doesn't it matter??? Is this the type of representative you want in office??)

Nothing illegal?
Barney Franks had sexual relations with a male prostitute. Last time I checked, prostitution was ILLEGAL for both the john and the prostitute.
Gerry Stubbs had sexual relations with an UNDERAGE male page. Last time I checked, pedophilia was ILLEGAL.
And lets not forget Mel Reynolds. Pardoned by Bill Clinton after being convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice, AND solicitation of child pornography.
Yeah...nothing illegal...you're right. Those activities are only illegal if Republicans commit them.

"i dont remember any dems calling for his resignation"
That is correct (News wise). They waited to see if the Repubs were going to clean up the mess. And they did. As for what went on in conference with the Dems, no one knows. Best guess is they were planing their onslaught against Craig and the Repub party had he remained. As is the correct political course to take.

They are not being hypocrites; it has been a hands off policy for the Democrats. They are saying nothing about him at all. It appears they have more brains than to run down someone already being torn apart by their own party!

Dems are not hypocrites in this. Gay Democrats openly admit that they are Gay. It is in the genes. There is no choice involved. When you choose something, you try both and then decide. I could never compare, The very thought, I ask my many Gay friends to forgive me, of kissing a man makes me upchuck....

They are not hypocrites. It was the GOP calling for his resignation. As for any Democrats that may have taken him to task for his actions this is because the GOP likes to say they are the party of family values and morals. A member of their own party was allegedly attempting to solicit sexual acts from a man in a bathroom known for this activity. The hypocrisy is on Craig and Craig alone. The GOP was in theory right to call for his resignation as he was not living up to the standard they claim to set for themselves.

Isn't that what you want? Dems were tired of the Repubs sticking up for each other regardless of the crime, now Repubs are cleaning shop so the Dems don't have to do it. That's a good thing I would think.

Barney franks gay other half ran a fag house out of the house.
The democrats said when clinton was caught it is a private matter. Craig did not do this in Washington, so it is the same thing.
But the Republicans have morals (unlike the democrats) and he is resigning. Unlike jefferson who keeps $90,000.00 in his freezer like lasagna.

The Democrats aren't being hypocrites. They don't run on family values trying to get money and backing from conservative Christians.
