I would cut back on the solid food and give here more formula or breast milk (whichever you are feeding her). Don't stop the solid food completely. Too much solid food is most likely the cause of the constipation.

This happened with my grandson and cutting back on the solid food did the trick by the next day.

Also, molasses helps little ones with constipation. Just put a small amount in her food, water or formula. I would start with 1/2 tsp.

Good luck!

No orange juice until she is one...
Her stomach can not handle the acids right now...

My son never had it but i did..sigh {embarrassing}
But i used a preparation H cream [read label for use on children] just try to keep her from sitting on her but and try
to have her sit in warm water a couple times a day..

Everything is going to be closed Monday except the hospital..
you should go because i know how painful it is and they
could help with more "baby safe" remedies..

good luck...

i know many will frown upon this but considering the situation i'll take my chances. my mom used to give us the juice from canned peaches. on a spoon not in a bottle. yeah it's got quite a bit of sugar but for some reason it really works to soften the stools. it won't hurt your little one at all.it's not like you're going to make a steady diet of it.
