I would just like a short synopsis of the candidates, simple and in layman's terms. I'm not a politically savvy person, but I feel like I need to know more about them. Facts and unbiased info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

At the moment the candidates are staying mostly close to their party lines, more aimed at the base of the respective party until the primaries are over anyways. The Democrats main issues have been ending the war in Iraq, Government run Health care in some shape or form, and raising the minimum wage. The Republicans have pushed for patience in Iraq and the War on Terror, the Pro-life position, and keeping taxes down by limiting government programs. They believe that the individual and the community can support itself while the Dems think that the government should help solve everyone's problem. For more difference between the candidates pay some attention during the upcoming months of endless election coverage.

I don't want to take up 'Yahoo Space' to list them individually, but I think I can safely lump them all in one nice, tidy little description. All of the front runners out there now are (1) power mad, (2) greedy, (3) dishonest and (4) disloyal. It seems in this day and age these qualities are what it takes to run for office. Whatever happened to GENUINE CONCERN about the state of the people of this nation??? Honestly, I just do not see it, and I am very much disappointed.

No one here is going to give you the run down on all the candidates running for office, that's your job to know if you expect to be an intelligent voter(maybe not yet?). There is still time to learn all you will need to know before the election, just read, watch TV & listen to the news. The candidates are all on the internet, just type in a name & there you go!

You can not expect anyone to give an un-prejudiced opinion on a political candidate. I am for Hillary, She was pro health insurance when Republicans were laughing at her. She didn't go ape when the whole country went bananas over oral sex with Monica. Bill did a pretty good job for eight years. Can you imagine what the real brains of the family could do?

Well, you could try watching the news or reading a newspaper. The candidates all have web sites if you'd like more detailed information. If that's all too much trouble, it might be best if you just stay home on election day.
