f(x) = 2x
g(x) = 3x² + 1

(fog)(x) = f[g(x)] = f(3x² + 1) = 2(3x² + 1) = 6x² + 2

(fog)(4) = 6*4² + 2 = 6*16 + 2 = 96 + 2 = 98
