im a A student, and im going into 8th grade.
school starts in 3 days, and i need to know how to maximize my efficency and be completely ready for school. im a bookworm borderline geek, but im working on my looks,
i need help ranging from outfit ensembles, (ive bought my clothes, i just need to know how to put them together) to school supplies, to getting from my lockers to classes, to accessorizing, to looking great (face/hair) not stressing out, to just being cool with school, i dont want/need to be popular,
ive done this before, i was at the same school last year, but ive been working on changing.

You are beautiful just the way you are. This is the time for you to begin learning about what you like and dislike please dont feel like you have to completely recreate yourself. We are all walking works of art in progress and there really are no rules accept to guard your heart and keep it as pure and clean as possible. I am 40 and still enjoying all of these aspects of my life.

I dont think you should change because of school.
Here are some tips though, for school:
Always stay organize.
For homework, have a notepad to write down everything you need.
Have a few numbers for any homework help.
Have a folder with multiple pockets for each subject.
Don't be afraid to raise your hand, and ask questions.
If people laugh at you, you'll have the last laugh.
For socializing in school:
If someone is in your homeroom, or in most of your classes, ask them if you can sit with he or she for lunch.
Just talk to people.
Say hi to everyone.
Keep all your friends.
For fashion:
Wear something that makes YOU feel comfortable and stylish.
It can be sporty, preppy, girly, rebel.
Its your call.
Seventeen magazine have great ideas on how to go back to school.
Here are some stores:
H&M
Urban Outfitters
Steve & Barry's
Forever 21.
Hollister
American Eagle.
And many others.
Hair:
Wear it loose on the first day.
Its ok to show off on the first day.
Show people the changes you have made.
Your confidence, your hair, anything.
(:

I'm with you there. I'm also a dork who is going through a makeover for my first year of high school, also in 3 days.
Perhaps you could post some pictures of your clothes so I could help.
As for lockers and such, I'm trying an approach this year where I carry everything in a single HUGE binder. (except textbooks, of course.) This will reduce locker visits, and hassling with supplies, which often makes a scene for me.
Good luck!

Hmmm....you're smart and you know it. Good for you to keep your grades up! 8th grade is important, cause its your last year before High School!
Since you seem smart and preppy, go prep!
American Eagle is pretty good. I am like you too. I am really smart, but in 7th grade I decided to focus a little bit of my attention on my clothes. My favorite store is AE cause its casual, yet sooo cute!

cute tee's paired w/ tanks, babydoll tops paired w/ skinny jeans and flats.
face? Hm..Pretty much really light makeup such as mascara, clear lipgloss and maybe alittle eyeliner or eyeshadow..nothing over durastic or u look like a clown lol
hair? hm..is it long? then put it in a high ponytail
Is it medium length? put it in a highish ponytail and curl the ends.
and for accesorizing? pretty much just chunky jewlery and layered necklaces.
and school supplies? just stay organized and you should be ok.
and just take a deep breath and try not to stress, same people every year and try to make your 8th grade year a great year!
:-D
Good luck!

aww, hun you sound so sweet. :] well, some good tips are to layer your clothes like a a henley with a tanktop under then a jacket over it then a denim skirt-and leggings are optional. and right before you're about to get to you class and you're at your locker, think about your next class and what you need, and if there were any additional items you needed to bring to that particular class.
hope it helped! :)

Just do what feels right with YOU! If you think something looks cute [even if others say it isn't] wear it anyways! Your going to be stressed out, no matter how hard you try, but try doing yoga, it gets rid of stress.
