I know exactly how you feel.
I love the Athletics -
I love the way they scrap and come back time and time again when they are counted out. I loved the big teams years ago when they won world championships and I even loved them when nobody went to the games and I could sit wherever I want because nobody cared.
I loved the Twins sweep last year - It was so special... it was like there was "something in the air" that day. People that I had not seen at an A's game in YEARS were there that day. In fact I won seats from MLB.com that I gave to a couple kids that really like the A's too (since I already had my tickets to that last playoff game with the twins) - sorry twins fans to bring up bad memories.
I love them A's, my kids love them and if anyone wants to get on my good side all they have to do is wear an A's shirt or a A's cap! (or even say something good about the Athletics)
When they lose I am down... when they win nothing can go wrong for me.

Lynch ran for more than 1,000 yards each of his first two seasons with the Bills. He also ran into trouble.
In May 2008, he pleaded guilty to a traffic violation and admitted to leaving the scene after hitting a female pedestrian with his luxury SUV near Buffalo's bar district.
The following March, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge in Los Angeles.

I love the Yankees. Although I haven't been to a game in years when I live pretty close to the Bronx, I really do love them. I watch all the games on TV, I scream and jump at every Yankee home run, and I get so angry when a bad call is made. I cried when they lost in the playoffs. During the 2004 season, I kept track of every Yankee hit, error, hr, and all (only for a few games) in one of those baseball books, except I personalized it. Now, I just look on the computer. I also wanted to become a Yankee broadcaster. I haven't missed school yet, but maybe I will this season.

I am a fan of the Yankees. However, I don't love the Yankees. I have seen games even though I should be in school. Hell, I have went to parades instead of going to school. I have also met a few players at signings as well. I have gotten upset and angry at times when we lose games that we shouldn't lose. I remember when we lost to the Red Sox after we were up 3-0. I was tossing stuff, and kicking stuff around. Eventually, I learn to get over it. I always go for the Yankees, but I am not just a Yankee fan. I am also a fan of the Jets, Giants, Rangers, Knicks, Dragons, and Notre Dame. I am a fan of basketball, football, hockey, UFC and wrestling, along with being a baseball fan, and Yankee fan. I am a die hard fan, but I don't love them. I only love my family.

Same here. One time i missed a vaca to go tubing in new Braunfels because we had an important series in boston!!! Well my cousin is my best friend in the whole wide world and it was his 12th birthday so i just couldnt miss it for the world but i was there and i stayed in his house until the game was over. the good thing was that there was like nobody there so i didn't have anybody to bother me and when it was over i went outside and played some paintball. Well i hope that this helped you to understand my dedication to my YANKEES!!!!

I love my team The Cubs sooo much, I have remained a fan for 38 years, through Leo Durocher to Wrigley dumping all the 69 guys to the Herman Franks era, where they would lead the division in May and lose it in June when Sutter got worn down, through 1981 and watching Bobby Bonds struggle to finish his career to the Tribune buying the team to Lee Elias tirade against the lazy fans to Dallas Green and the 1984 season to Don Zimmer and the evolution of a pitcher named Maddux who left thanks to Larry Himes through the lousy 90s then the strike is the only thing that forced me to give up the Cubs, though I came back when it looked like Sammy Sosa would hit 60 Hrs(this was 1996). Through the wild card, Kerry Woods 20 some bad teams from 1999 to 2002 to 2003 which had me dancing in front of my TV until Bartman showed up, more frustration from Dusty Baker, until now , when I remain cautiously optimistic.....Yes, you could say I LOVE MY CUBBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love the yankees like craaaaaaazy.
i watch every game, every day when i can. i did horribly on my finals just because i had to watch the games. my dad made me look up the word "obsession" one day just to show me how ridiculously i was acting.
but still, i love them and always will.
last year, i showed up to the school's homecoming dance with tears still in my eyes because i was crying so hard when they got out of the playoffs. it was crazy. but what was worse was that no one understood what i was going through!
and one thought that always makes tears come to my eyes is that one day, ten years or so from now, my own kids will be watching yankeeography for derek jeter or a-rod or jorge posada or any other player on the team right now, and then i'd tell them how i went to their games, and bought their posters, and waited after games for their autographs..
haha isn;t that cute?
so yeah, i love the yankees. :)

Including Clarett. Much maligned over the last decade of his life, Clarett appears to be back on the right track. He was polite and cordial during an interview, and one of his good friends, Dan Herron, who said he works out with Clarett on a regular basis in Columbus, spoke very highly of the current lifestyle of Clarett, who recently put together a charity basketball game at Struthers High School.

I'm a big Yankee fan too, but I keep things in perspective. I am more concerned about my son serving with the Army in Iraq, my other son deployed on a Navy ship, my wife suffering from M.S., and my daughter's and daughter-in-law's pregnancies. Root for your team, but keep your priorities in order.
That being said...GO YANKEES!!!!!!
