I am not sure what area you are in for a good location, but I like Acapulco restaurants. The food is excellent, as is the service, and the price is not outrageous. Monday nights are great for Happy Hour since Margaritas are 1/2 off, and so are the appetizers. I sound like an Advert. :) Check out the site.

In Pasadena, TX we have a place called the Don' Key. with excelent heavy handed drinks and authintic Mexican food. Great place.

I dont know if this place is Mexican, but BW3's is good and it has a bar.
