To me, theater is a way to touch the lives of others and really help them change their lives for the better. Theater has changed my life, and I hope that I can somehow change the lives of others, and really make people reflect on the decisions that they make and ultimately their lives. Theater has a way of conveying emotion and feelings that you can never get through movies, however hard you try. I reflect on my own life when I'm in a play, and I relate whatever is happening with me to what I'm doing, and in so doing, really making it real to me so that it's real to the audience. There is no other experience like theater.

Theater to me is another world. I love to act out another characters life and just for a moment become some one else. Especially in musical theater. Cause you get so far away from reality and break out into song and dance.

it means happiness and doing the things i love i don't think you can really define but when you act or are in a theater you know what it means it isn't words but actions

it means having a power that most people will never experience. when you're on stage and really playing your role well you can change people's emotions, you can make people cry, you can make people angry just by saying something. i think as humans it is the closest we can get to "playing God". it also means being able to experience things that i will never get to do otherwise. for instance, right now i'm in chicago. the roaring 20's are long gone but because i'm in this play i get to live during that decade. i can't even begin to explain what it means to me. great question, by the way, i've never tried to put my thoughts about theatre into words.

it means the people in it for passion not fame like in hollywood. Theatre is being so close you can touch, so close your feet rumble w/ beautiful music. Theatre is passion.

It means, hanging out with friends, maybe even a cute guy to cuddle with and gr8 food. If no guys are with the clique, then it is all flirting!!!
