Ok...I bought this shirt that I WAS gonna wear on at least the first WEEK of school, which starts on Tuesday, but when I tried it on just now, it was too big. To give you more info, I would say at least 2-4 sizes too big then my normal size. The store didn't have my size, which is small and sometimes extra small, so I got medium because it looked like it would fit. I looked at the tag and it said 100% cotton...so my question is, Do 100% cotton shirts always shrink? I really need to know so I can maybe wash it or something so it'll shrink. Also if you know any other ways to shrink it, that would be helpful.

My 100% cotton shirts always strech. They get a lot wider. Everyone else is saying it doesn't, but it does. That's why I don't get shirts that are 100% cotton anymore.

They usually shrink. but you should wash and dry it a couple times before wearing. if it's still to big, just wait for awhile.

100% will shrink some in the dryer... but u can make it shrink more by washing it and rinsing in HOT water, and then drying it in the dryer.
