Losing my 15 year old daughter to a long battle with kidney failure. That nightmare taught me to slow down and not take myself too seriously. I learned that every day is precious and every event in our lives serves to teach us new skills of coping,

I have learned that I need to adapt to the changes around me, and be able to accept the changes. Not everything that happens in the world sets well with my logic or how I would like things to be, but they are what they are. I have more of an opened mind, I believe, now, and am better able to deal with everyday things and things that would normally be stressful as they would not be expected. I live each day to the fullest and make it the best I can. And, I have a strong faith in G-d, I feel that even though there are events in my life and the world around me that I can not control, G-d has a plan and will see me through these times. I worry, but I don't worry at the same time. I have also found that all of my hard work in life, studying, education, behaving, conserving, is paying off. I have a wonderful career, and a boss that most would love to work for. I couldn't ask for more, I feel sometimes, and that is a wonderful feeling!

College started it, working in the real world solidified it. I'm so grateful for my college years. I was exposed to so many different ways of seeing the world. Working in the real world has cemented it in my head that the way I see the world is such a small slice of reality. Preparation and reality! Those are the two biggest influences for me.

I think time & maturity... As years pass by, u realize so many things and see them so differently... U will want to make no more mistakes and live life to the fullest. U also become more realistic.

I am a learning in progress, this might sound cliche, but every single day brings me a message, teaches me a lesson and helps me to realize that none of the above are set in concrete.
