because its against the american way for middle eastern counties to resist domination from western countries, the u.s. in particular.
we can sell weapons to iran to fight iraq, as reagon did, or to give iraq chemical weapon to use against iran or radicals. But if iran gives rifels to iraqi patriots its a travesty

Gee, maybe because the weapons that Iran is sending to Iraq is being used to kill Americans.....and Iraqis, which are apparently more important to you than American lives.
