Where's the beach on Rune Factory for DS?

I feel like a dummy, but I can't find the beach...and does anyone know the combinations to make rings, medicine and forge items? Thank you!

Those are two pretty different questions...

I can't help you with the second right now, because I don't have the second house yet, but the first I can help you with.

The beach is one screen up and one screen to the right of your farm. The exit to there is on the bottom right of the second screen.

Make sure you walk all the way to the end of the dock so that you can get the fishing pole!
