Roughly 9 months ago i had Some Lines that almost look like scars appear on my lower Abdomen. Now at the time i ignored it figuring it was perhaps related to the big weight gain i went through. (Gained roughly 50 lbs all in the gut). However in the last 1-2 months they have started to hurt every now and then if i move in the wrong direction. IE if i do like a hip twist to the side i can feel an almost pinch pain on the scars. There are roughly 4-5 of these On each side of my belly button and they look like scars. Shape wise there not quite straight they almost look like the curve shape of a fishes gills. Or if you took the letter ""C"" And bent it more straight with just a slight arc. I really just thought these were stretch marks from gaining weight but is it normal for stretch marks to be painful like that? If im just sitting down or as such there fine. its only when i move in odd directions ot bend over and such. Anyone have any ideas what these could be?

They are nasty stretch marks. When you gain a lot of weight very quickly, you can get killer stretch, which are actually a type of scar.
The very deep or very wide ones can be tender - it's nature's way of telling you to shape up!
Start eating better - avoid fried, fast and junk food - even diet junk food.
Drink 1/2 gallon of water a day.
Take a multivitamin every day.
Do some cardio for 45 min 6 days a week to lose weight - alternate walking, swimming, cycling, running, whatever works for you.
Do 3 sets each of 10 reps of pushups, situps, obliques, and crunches, every other day. As you get stronger you can progress to weight training.

Stretch marks are places where the skin's elasticity can't keep up with demand for growth, like rapid weight gain or pregnancy. Sometimes the part being turned into a stretch mark, or the edge of a stretch mark that's being made bigger, can hurt, because you're literally pulling the skin with whatever movement you're doing.

If this keeps up, see a doctor, but for the moment, you'd be wise to pay attention to how you move and to get on a sensible eating plan to slowly lose the weight you gained. (I know, easier said than done.)
