When the Titanic sank and hundreds and hundreds of people were stuck in the water after it sank after they froze, what happened to all of their bodies? Would someone have come back to the sight and collected them? Or would they have just let them be? (Im watching the movie right now and am curious, does anyone know?)

Another ship picked up the dead bodies but some never were recovered because they were in the ship that went to the bottom and they were probably eaten by fish. I have wondered if the cold water would have preserved some of the bodies, but since it was almost a hundred years ago I imagine they eventually dissolved. The people that found it , I believe said they found no bodies.

Hey I'm looking for volunteers to get into their small boats and pick up some dead bodies around this piece of ice that just sunk one of the biggest boats of its time. Any takers?

Sad Movie, brilliant though, they all went to the bottom of the water, and that is odd I am listening to the music from Titanic right now.

well if you think about it, there to many bodies to collect so they most likely drifted out to sea. Animals in the water probably ate them and others had disintegrated. It's really sad! :(

I think that the bodies that went down with the ship just decomposed, scattered and became food for predators. The frozen bodies were all recovered.

one of the reasons they have never brought the titanic up is because it is considered a grave site for the deceased. i dont think they could have collected all the bodies. that would have been too large a task for the early 1900's.

I guess they may have just floated and dissolved over time, or maybe a shark or something ate them. Most of them weren't wearing life jackets, so they all sunk to the bottom and they dissolved over time with age.

I think they came back to get out as many bodies as possible, but most of them are impossible or gone.
