They are the new style and very cute! I would say they are more of a fall style boot...the classic ones are a little warmer. But they are still comfy & warm. I suggest you go for it, especially if its what you want!

hm, I dont have them...
but if you live in a wet snowy area they wouldnt be great for the winter. maybe if u ised some super heavy waterproofing spray.
but otherwise id say theyd be warm for the winter
personally, id save for the normal kind of uggs,
but the crochet ones r cute 2

Of course uggs are great for winter when it comes to warmth, comfort, and ruggedness. However, Uggs are not very attractive and they're not in style anymore. In my opinion, they never should have been in style in the first place. If you absolutely must have the comfort of uggs for extremely cold wheather, you should choose a posh trendy shade like the gunmetal gray, to counteract the weird, rustic, hippie vibe that uggs always have. Crochet uggs are the worst kind of Uggs yet.

the payless ones are good, but if you go to mervyns, then you can get uggs (at least good look-alikes) for like $30 too. the ones at payless are quilted.
