i have a cell phone but i would like to buy a plan without having to by the phone can i do this? and how? its a blackberry t-mobile phone

You can put your cell phone on a plan if it is an acceptable unit which will operate on the provider network. Probably only on T-mobile, because of internal T-mobile programming. Remember, most cell phone contracts are for two years which generally includes a new phone at a reduced price. If you supply your own phone ask them if you might be able to sign a one year contract.
