Who aspires to do that line of work anyway?

Don't think they aspire to do it, it's one step up from living in the streets, it's like being homeless with a job. You know small hands smell like cabbage.

well, i recently met a group of south american carnies who wanted to "exchange pics." so i would have to say creeep-errrrr.
that's sort of what siegfried and roy do (did?) and i think that they are slightly on the opposite side of normal. however, if it's what makes one happy, nobody should care. somebody has to be in that line of work, and people keep going to carnivals, so there is absolutely no problem with it.

I think of an old friend of mine who used to work as a carny. He taught me a lot about how the midway games work, how they are rigged and how to beat them.

When you say carny I imagine the biggest scum of the earth wearing ugly make-up who have sex a lot and probably hold a lot of disease and bad habits..

Circus. I don't think people use to actually aspire to do it. It was the culmination of childhood dreams. Or a pick up job for run-a-ways.

i knew some folks who were carnies...i know what i am talking about...trashy!!!! makes the trailer park clutter look decent...lololol
