I do believe there was a cover up. that things not normal to us were found and examined! yes,,,,the government would lie to us. and this was during a time of many extra terestial sightings. too much evidence has been compiled to the positive. No, we are not alone. If there is nothing to hide,,,,,then why do they hide it????

Area 51 has been around since 1948 or so...not coincidentally close to 1947 and all that happened then. (The Gov't. did need SOME time to scout out where this was to be built!) I've known some folks who are familiar with this locale. With a 3 mile runway and , estimated, 24-32 underground levels, speculation is rampant that we are using it to "house" ET guests; back engineer UFOs that have been captured, shot down or borrowed; an alien "visiting site", and more. In 1999 we were forced to acknowledge its existence from Russian satellite photos (permitted under the START Treaty then, as we were permitted floyovers of their bases as well).

Much of the above may very well be true. Hard to believe a private security force, with authorization to shoot to kill, would guard the entire outer perimeter if it was just another Air Force Base, even if it was under SAC command, but that's a fact. Many of Area 51's workers are bussed in from McCarren AFB nearby, in buses whose windows are blacked out, to hide the location even from employees! Work on new chemical elements, and medical testing of ET guests or hostages is an interesting supposition, as biohazard suits are used within. I think, after researching UFOs for over 14 years, that some of the speculation above is on the mark.

Think idea built on top of area used to be just an ordinary area. Unless ancient terrestrial instead of extra terrestrial are hidden there no idea. Space craft from Earth would be a new addition to legend of Area 51. Would also be an improvement if it were to be suggested an astronaut from Earth from a long passed evolved humanity. Same could happen to us all traces of tech could be erased by time or some could remain. Maybe so far back not recorded humans had what they have now.

Hahaha wow that is a big question. Since in actual fact no one but those who work there know. And they are not allowed to divulge their info to us.

I personally think it is an alien landing and docking site. And probably a lot of the people gaurding the site have no clue as the what is going on. But if it is in fact an alien base that is working with the government I can see why they wouldn't tell us about it. I don't think the world is ready for the information held there. One day we will find out, probably not intentionally but it will slip one day. And my guess would be a worldwide panic. The truth of many mysterious matters is people cannot handle the truth. So for now I think it is best if whatever is there says there in secret.

In all reality, you might take a quess.
The fact of the matter is the US Government Denied it even existed. It wasn;t until the last 5 to 7 years they even owned up to it's existance.
That all being said, there is very strong evidence that reverse technology has taken place there over the years.
I suggest you do some serious research on the subject to find the truth.
Remember you will have to sort through some of the BS that the Gov puts out with there misinformation campaign

Nothing gose on at area 51, at one time there was something there but they moved it a long itme ago. If there was something there they would not do things to call attention to the place. They say there is nothing to make you think there is something and you do not go and look for were it really is

I personally think it is a government hideout where they work closely with beings far more advanced than we are. I would hope that the Beings are in control (and not the Government calling the shots).

I suspect they drink a lot of cold beer on that hot desert.

I can't say for sure. I would love to go there though. I knew someone who worked there in the past. I don't see him much he's retired now though. I think the only way one would find out is if he/she saw it for themselves.

Nothing nearly as exciting or interesting as people so desperately want/need to believe.
