I wear mascara on top and bottom (2-3 coats), eyeliner on my bottom lid, pressed powder, and either reddish-brown eyeshadow or none at all. I want to wear heavier foundation than powder, but my mother says I'm too young (meaning no wrinkles or age spots to hide.) I disagree, because I have pimples, zits, and acne scars to hide. Is there a foundation that will offer me more coverage but isn't like a mask?

I'm fifteen.
And I hate anything on my lips.
It feels weird.

the amount of make-up I wear depends on the look I'm going for.
but if you're having some skin issues, and you think you'd feel more comfortable wearing make-up that's a little heavier, you might try Revlon Colorstay foundation for normal/oily skin. Revlon Colorstay also makes a concealer that contains something to help heal up blemishes too.
my best friend wears it, and her make-up never looks too heavy, and she uses the Colorstay foundation, concealer, and pressed powder.
it also completely covers up her acne.
just ask your mom if you can get some and try it.
if she thinks it looks too heavy, tell her you'll tone it down the next time.
Best Wishes! = )

Well, it depends on how old you are. Girls shouldn't wear make up until they feel ready, but what usually happens is this:
ages 0 to 11=no make up
ages 12 to 13= mascara, and occasional eye liner
ages 14 to 16= eye liner, mascara, foundation, and eyeshadow
ages 17 and over= well, there are all kinds.
Be comfortable with your 'inner beauty' people love you for who you are, and what you look like, not what your foundation has molded your face into.

I wear concealer underneath and above my eyes. Then I use tinted moisturizer on my cheeks (but I don't know if that counts as make-up), shimmery cream eyeshadow on my brown bone and tear ducts and light purple on my eyelids. Then I apply translucent powder all over my face to set make-up/rid of shine. After that I curly my eyelashes apply about 2-3 coats of very black mascara. I use chapstick and then a light nude pink lipgloss over the chapstick. It's a very natural, pretty look for everyday. It may sound like a lot to put on, but it's really not and very easy to do. It takes me about 5-10 minutes every morning.

a better solution for you might be to find a toner or a moisturizer that would work to eliminate the acne problem instead of covering it up which could clog pores and make things worse. try a lotion or a spot treatment with a salycic acid to clear up and stop pimples before they fully form. make sure you use something non-comodegenic, which means that it won't clog pores, and it should say that on the label. for your scars, try using a light concealer and then set with a powder. you may also want to check the ingredients on your current makeup and make sure you aren't allergic to any of the ingredients.

All people appears better with just right make-up, that's a truth. I will go to the retail outlets and run errands in no make-up fortunately as i have just right dermis, but I believe with the correct utility everybody appears excellent with make-up, peculiarly for nights out. Invest in small portions of good pleasant make-up, precedence being a basis, eyebrow pencil, powder and mascara, a small amout of blush and a impartial lip will continually seem average and effortless, I believe it can be a self assurance raise :)

the more cover up you put on that stuff, the worse it gets. try not wearing any cover up for a week, use acne-clearing stuff at night, and those pimples should dissapear. you should only use cover up when you have like picture day or something important and you have a bad break out. mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow are fine though.

I wear a very small amount of concealer, chapstick, & lipgloss.
If I'm going to the movies or out with my friends I might line my bottom lid with black eyeliner.

i agree w/ mom. use a good light concealer to cover up any imperfections so the foundation doesn't look cakey.
I personally wear a bit to school and I go all out at events. since I'm a make up artist.
