The first thing to do is to make sure you're not taking the SAT too many times. Some colleges don't care but my advisor told me that some of the top colleges don't like it if you take the test more than three times.

I would really spend time on the areas you need the most help on. Beyond a certain point, things like practice tests can't improve your score anymore if you don't know how to do the problems.

I used this thing my dad read about in Business Week called Prepme.com and it worked pretty well for me. My score went up a lot and I got detailed lessons in all the areas I needed help.

There are SAT preparation books, courses, and software, and such materials are certainly worth studying. But what you really need to do well on the SAT is "SAT vocabulary," knowledge of the unique and versatile words of English. The best way to learn these words is to read a good commercially published vocabulary building book and work through the exercises. One that I learned a lot from was The Joy of Vocabulary, by Levine, Levine, and Levine. At $2.99 on Amazon Marketplace, it is a steal compared to the SAT prep books, courses, and software.

well, you can do many things to improve!
First, improve ur study skills. Then practice SATs a lot. You can get a book from library or buy it. Practice ! practice and practice. Remember that "Practice makes man perfect"!
