women do not ovulate on their period,
but they can ovulate the day after their period(irregular cycle), and since sperm can live up to 5 days in a woman, pregnancy is possible

very very unlikely, it only happens in women with REALLY irregualr cycles, and if ovulation did occur there would be nowhere for the embryo to implant.

nicely my wisdom has consistently been that the bleeding is as a results of fact the egg has torn from the lining and for this reason no longer able to be fertilized. that's what the era capacity that the egg and the wall of the Uterus (sp) did no longer get sperm so they flush off. yet i could desire to be incorrect. What i'm saying is that a woman won't be able to get preg. on a similar time as on her era as a results of fact there is not any longer something for the sperm to fertilize.
