My mum had a glass wash-board in the laundry and I remember using it myself to wash grease out of overalls. It nearly took the skin off my nuckles in the process. In Australia we used Sunlight Soap. Generally we found bringing a heated copper tub to boiling point really made the whites 'whiter'.
My first bed after I graduated from a childrens cot was a spring mattress. It wasn't so bad and was great to jump on.
I didn't have a charm bracelet otherwise I would have been 'razzed' by the other boys at school, but my sister did. She had all sorts of charms from stars, moons, cats, dogs, ballet shoes, and heaps of other things.
I did ride in a 1934 Willy's, but it was a convertible not a sedan. A mate in Dee Why NSW had it and he'd pick us up in the morning and drive me and two others into the City of Sydney where we worked. We were only 18 years of age at the time. I remember one morning we were late for work when the engine blew up after the radiator gave up the 'ghost' and all of its rusty water spurted all over us. It brings a smile to my face even today.

1. Use a scrub board in the laundry tub and use bar soap-Nope, wouldn't be surprised if my grandma made me do this.lol. Shes stuck back in the 1950's still or maybe even 40's or 30's 0_0. Shes like almost 80, I think. No, I'm not being sarcastic.
2. Sleep on a spring mattress (ouch!)-Yup, up until my recent bed and mattress. Before I got rid of it the springs had popped and scratched my legs, my back, & my arms. I had to get like this lil cushion thing until I replaced it (the mattress).
3. Have a gold charm bracelet-charm necklace
4. Ride in a Willy Sedan (1934)-nope

I have used a scrub board along with the soap I made but I was 'helping' my grandmother. I have also slept on an old spring mattress when a spring sprung through. I've never owned a charm bracelet much less real gold when I was young.
I looked up the Willy Sedan on the web and it's neat. I love vintage cars. I used to have a '55 Chevy a few years ago. Thanks for the trip down memory lane :)

I had a spring mattress as well. Back then, those were the best.
I never had to use a scrub board, lucky me.
We were too poor for a gold charm bracelet, but I got a silver one for Christmas. I loved it.
Never rode in a Willy Sedan.
Man, I lost out on that deal.

I still have a scrub board here at home but never use it. My wife used to use if for grass stains and such on the boys clothes.
For number 4 when you say Willy Sedan I am assuming you mean Willys Sedan. My dad had two 1937 Willys sedans but not at the same time.

1. I still HAVE my Mom's old glass scrub board...any I remember well the cakes of BonAmi soap used for everything from scrubbing out bad stains in clothes to washing windows!
2. I still HAVE a spring mattress. They just sell them with better padding these days.
3. I have my Mom's gold charm bracelet that she was collecting new charms for every Xmas for 15 years (at least). It sits in a little jewellery case with her other stuff (I guess I should take all that stuff to the safe deposit box at the bank?!).
4. And I haven't an earthly about what THAT is--sounds vaguely pornographic (isn't that what most men call their "friends"?).

I have seen a scrub board and maybe tried it once.
I have slept on a spring mattress, well at least I remember the box springs being metal springs.
Used to have a fake gold charm bracelet, had the Ten Commandments on it.
Never heard of a Willy Sedan.
I reported that rude bastard!
