He's the closest to my political views and I'd still wouldn't vote for him because what absolutely needs to be avoided is having the perfect Democratic candidate like Dennis Kucinich and ending up with President Thompson.
I think he would be eaten alive by the GOP war machine like Kerry was in 2004 and probably worse.
Don't forget Kerry a decorated war hero and they could still make his Vietnam record a problem while running against Bush of all people.
I support Hillary because I think she would be far better than any Republican and she's the only one I'm confident of she can fight and win the far right mudslinging like her husband did.

I like Dennis Kucinich but I don't think he has enough appeal to win the nomination much less the presidency. On a certain level he reminds me of Paul Tsongas who I thought was one of the finest Democrats ever.
The problem with Kucinich is that he is willing to take bold decisive action but when it comes right down to it I think the American public can only handle baby steps.

I love Kucinich but he has a snowball's chance of hell of winning. When the primary comes, I might vote for him if he is still in it. If he gets enough support, it migh keep the liberal issues in the spotlight.

I love Dennis and I am rooting for him for the democrats.. He is clear with where he stands on the issues and what he plans to do about them...
I think a Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich '08 ballot would be perfect!
But ofcourse we are talking about a country that voted in Bush twice,, they wouldn't know what was good for them if it hit them in the head..

I serioulsy doubt he will obtain the candidacy. he does stand for good politics though. Such a sad state that just because a candidtate is not known that they can not attain more support

Because he is nothing more than an activist, with activist positions on issues.
The President is not the Head Activist, the President is the Head of the Executive Branch.
If you elect an activist, based on their positions on "issues", what do you do after your President submits the activist legislation? Is that person capable of management of the executive branch, the biggest and most important management position in the world?
Dennis Kucinich is not qualified. He squawks his agenda, but is not capable of managing the corner drug store.

Here are Seven reasons I WOULD NOT Vote for Dennis Kucinich;
1. He could not manage Cleveland, Ohio as the Mayor of Cleveland the the city went into defalt (the first American City since the Great Depression) and he almost was recalled out of office.
2. Kucinich wants America to leave NAFTA and the WTO which would serverly cripple America's Economy.
3. His plans for Iraq would create an Rwandan Genocide (1994) in Iraq, and "I Never Want To See An Event Like That Again in my lifetime" because I do not want to see thousand and thousands of men, women, and children who have their futures ahead of them be massacred by those who create harm and evil.
4. He does not know the difference between Right and Wrong and he thinks that Wrong is Right and Right is Wrong.
5. Kucinich does not care for the People of Cleveland and Northern Ohio. He gets his funding from Liberal Hollywood Actors who do not live in Clevland or Northern Ohio.
6. He does not follow the laws written in the Holy Bible. He accuses President Bush for not following the Constitution of the United States of America that is based off the Bible and yet, he Lives In Everday Sin and denies the Truth. He also says he is a lifelong Roman Catholic and what he believes in goes against both the Catholic Church and Christianity.
7. Kucinich would be defeated by any Republican for the Presidency. I believe John Ellis "Jeb" Bush could defeat Kucinich for the Presidency and he is not considering a run (just yet) for the Presidency of the United States of America to continue his brother's legacy for Four More Years.

I personally met Dennis Kucinich. I asked him honest and direct questions on the Iraq War and he was afraid to answer them. By keeping within the popular views against the Iraq War and by not taking any serious position as an elected official or as a private citizen, he is playting it safe and making no solid commitments as to his honesty and personal integrity.
Would I vote for him? The answer is "No!"
Dennis Kucinich seems to be too far off in his reasoning and political positions. I prefer a sound and solid person as President.

Socialism has failed in every country in which it has been tried. Lil' Denny is an avowed Socialist who would certainly try to shift America to the Socialist model. Not only is he short of stature, he's totally "short" when it comes to real world ideas for the U.S.
