Britain is just more experience in being a peace keeper and has used this experience to get further in the plan than America.
three out of the four areas Britain took control of after the war have already been hand back and are under the control of Iraqi security. The British managed this by training and equipping the Iraqis at a faster rate than the Americans have.
Peace keeping techniques used by British troops had themselves walking the streets with out helmets and met and greet the locals as a sense of trust.
Basra currently has less violent crime than Washington. Lost battle more extremely successful completion of required tasks.

I don't think that is the case. The Brits are concerned with being blown up in their shopping areas as we speak. They are scared. Not for the sake of their troops but for the sake of their children and the future of their nation. They have not lost the war in Britain that have lost the battle. But they have not given up and they will continue to fight terrorism.

If you haven't noticed, the Democratic Party is a lot more concerned about military and veterans these days than Bush is. Neither party is identical with the United States, so please don't confuse them with it.

Whenever we leave. The only difference is, the longer we stay, the more Americans die in the mean time.
We caused this clusterfork & we are perpetuating it. Full blown civil war WILL happen when(ever) we leave.
