The Bears should stick to screen passes and running the ball.
Merriman was the only player to get caught juicing but I'd bet the Chargers trainer has the team on the special sauce.

The Chargers had 1 player caught "on the juice" - don't implicate the whole team.

The problem with Chicago is the inconsistent play of the quarterback. It is not a team that traditionally wins with Offense so they don't need a great quarterback. However, I have a feeling their Defense has lost a part of a step and I don't know that they are up for a battle with the AFC.

Chargers have a big question mark with the new coaching staff but I think the talent and the core team that has stayed together will result in good chemistry this year and maybe earn Norv his shot at glory.

Chargers 31, Bears 17

Not so much the "juice", it's the coaching that has me wondering. But either way, your score seems a bit out there. Say something more like San Diego 24 Chicago 17. Rex is just too unpredictable and San Diego & L.T. just too good, even with the coaching change, I think Grossman will somehow lose it at some point. Sorry...

Rex Grossman can barely tear up a piece of kleenex much less the Charger's defense. Have you seen how badly he's been playing in the pre-season?

All that aside, I think it will be a close game, since both teams have really good defenses. I think the Chargers have the upper hand when it comes to offense, but it should be a good game regardless.

As for "the juice" comment, Merriman is the only one on that entire team that was suspended for steroid abuse, so let's not drag the whole team into it, shall we? You don't see me calling the entire Bears team gun-toting ex-cons on account of Tank Johnson, do you?

There is no way Grossman has a passing touchdown against the Chargers the Bears are in trouble and they will be lucky if it is only as ugly as the Colts-Saints opener.

hahahahha
1st to say Gross! Man! could tear up anything is laughable and 2ndly the Chargers and everyone else in the league aren't off the juice, or at least HGH (can't prove that but is the idea of someone being 6'6" 350lbs and running a 4.90 40 believable, that's faster than a lot of normal athletic people. Not to mention these same guys benching 400lbs and squating 500!)

Rex Grossman couldnt tear up the defenses of the Wolverines and Irish, and that is saying something.
