It depends what toe it is. The only time it wouldn't heal properly is if you broke your big toe, otherwise, just ice it, buddy wrap it with the toe next to it (dont forget the guaze, very important), elevate the foot as much as possible and try to stay off it as much as possible.
Also, try to wear a shoe that doesnt put pressure on the toe such as sandals (but be VERY careful not to bump it on anything)

try jumping on one leg. thats what i did. and my stub is feeling a little better. also, try not babying your toe too much (unless it broke or fractured or somehing like that :P). I suggest going to see a hospatial if none of these work

might want to try and pull it in order to reset your toe. Sorry, been there done that. Sometimes i still get pain and i have to massage my pinky toe...OW!!!

It depends. You night have broken it, or sprained it, or just bruised it. Try some ice, or mix some Epsom salt with warm water and soak your foot.
