I love the show, but House is the only reason I like it. The rest of the cast could fall off the face of the earth for all I care. For me it is the only medical drama I have ever had any desire to watch.

I like House too - because of Hugh Laurie. But after watching it for a while I realized it's the same show again and again.
People get sick outside the hospital - they come to the hospital and are repeatedly misdiagnosed, and mistreated, until they either die, or receive the right diagnosis and treatment at the very last minute.
But I love Hugh Laurie's performance - and his nastiness. He's definitely not the most sympathetic character - but I like him anyway.

I love it. But not because it's a medical drama. I just love Hugh Lorie's (sp?) character. Just like Alan Shore on The Practice. Doesn't matter the genre; characters like that make me laugh out loud. Thank god for those writers' senses of sarcasm/humor!

I LOVE the show! Actually Hugh Laurie is an English comedic actor. "After 30 yrs of watching him play complete fools, with perfect sincerity it is extraordinary to see that he can take a straight role with a basically unlikeable obnoxious character and make it his own so completely and do it with extraordinary and unique success"....as quoted by my husband..who is English btw!

It's not the best medical drama but it certainly is a good one. It's always suspenseful and the intwerwoven story lines from show to show keep you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait for the new season to see if his friends come back or not.

I just recently got into it this past year, mid-season, and I do like it! I don't really watch any other medical dramas so I can't compare, but I just like it. Despite the way House is, he is entertaining to watch, and smart!

The worst possible example of Doctors, Nurses, Hospitals, etc. It should never be aired.
Every one would be without a License in real life. The whole
program is Disgusting.
