According to the official web site on such matters, "The Prince and Princess of Wales spent part of their honeymoon at the Mountbatten family home at Broadlands, Hampshire, before flying to Gibraltar to join the Royal Yacht HMY BRITANNIA for a 12-day cruise through the Mediterranean to Egypt. They finished their honeymoon with a stay at Balmoral."
Since Dianna's life ended after cruising the Mediterranean with an Egyptian, in retrospect, the above is somewhat ironic.

No, rumor has it that it was actually spent mostly inCamilla, who was snuck ( sneaked?) on board the royal yacht in a French maid's uniform, and secreted in the Captain's quarters. Kept the Prince busy,it did, hiking his britches and running back and forth between the two.Of course in those days he was rather more agile, as was Camilla. It's said that Diana was none the wiser, though finding some cuff links Camilla gave Charles did give her a bit of a start. Poor Princess, she paid dearly for her bit of fame. And in the end, Camilla won the brass ring.
