I believe in the scientific method. I don't 'believe in' evolution.
Evolution is the best solution that fits the facts. There is so much evidence to support it. Any rational person that actually looks at the evidence would come to the same conclusion. That is exactly why it is the leading scientific theory. If it could be disproven, it would have been, long ago.

"believe in" I must quibble with that phrase, as it's not a matter of whim or blind, unthinking faith, or wishful thinking.
There is no reason or evidence for thinking that there's a supreme Sky Bully who created everything from nothing; in fact, the idea is incoherent, on examinationWE need explaining, but infinite complexity and power don't?
Tons of evidence, and much really strong reasoning all suggest that natural selection operating on random mutation, with some quirks and other events (such as mass extinctions due to hits from meteors, and other stuff like that) form an adequate explanation of how come we and all the other living things came to be.
In a sense, I believe I live in California -- but that seems an odd locution, as it's not a matter of faith, or other irrational reason that I believe it.
It's simply true that I live in California. I'm aware that this hunk of land is called California.
It just seems odd to say that I believe in (though it is a firm belief of mine), as that admits some cause for doubt. It makes it sound like "I believe Buffy is a great show" (which is opinion, preference) or "I believe I'll have some Cherries Garcia which is a prediction of a decision I'm about to make, or "I believe he was cranky" as a hypothesis I've formed, based on some, but inconclusive evidence.
Do you believe in Germ Theory? Or do you think that demons take over our bodies, making us ill; or that some air is "bad" or that our 4 humours go out of wack, causing us to become sick?
It may be called Germ Theory, that doesn't mean that we who "believe in it" are on a par with believing in fairies or nifflers.
Here's a web site
http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/article/0_0_0/lines_01
that discusses the disparate lines of evidence supporting evolution.

Suppose you went to your doctor for some sort of life-threatening disease. He says to you: " Your disease is caused by a certain type of bacteria. The original treatment we used on this germ is called Drug A, which I have right here. Unfortunately, the germ has evolved in response to this treatment and is no longer susceptible to this drug. We have, however, developed Drug B, which is still effective. You can have your choice of either drug. Drug A is much cheaper than Drug B."
If you don't believe in evolution, I suppose you would choose Drug A, wouldn't you?

you can see evolution every where not only in nature but society and technology is like life imitating art. Plus the mountiain of evidence and the contradictions organized religion has with scientifically proven facts like the world is around 4.5 billion years old and not 6000 years like it says in the bible. plus artifacts can be carbon dated going as far back as 50,000 years.

Evolution is real. Bacteria proves that.
Also, evolution is God's way of creating the Earth, that is, if you are religious and Catholic.
Why not evolution? What is harmful in knowing that?

Evolution, that are so many facts and evidence. Discovery channel not to long ago hosted a few specials on it, and how we evolved from sea creatures to walking fish and etc etc. I'm to lazy right now to give you links, but their our there.

I know that evolution is bogus. Even the simpilist thing on earth is too complex to have evolved from chance. There must have been some higher being who created it. And that only can mean that God created everything.

"Believe", no.
Accept as the best possible theory to explain the current evidence.
Absolutely, yes.
As for my reasons ... here is my write up of 10 main categories of evidence (my answer to this question "What is the evidence that PROVES evolution???"):

No believing required - there is plenty of evidence for evolution, so either you accept the evidence you stick your head in the sand. http://www.talkorigins.org
