Seriously, I am about to reveal the secret to making a kick-a$$ peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Ready?
Put jelly on one piece of bread, peanut butter on the other. But before you put peanut butter on, but plain butter. A nice coating of butter or margarine underneath the peanut butter. It makes it two times better.

When I was a kid I put Marshmallow Fluff on my peanut butter and jelly. I don't even like peanut butter and jelly anymore.
