I'm starting another short story and just wanted some opinions on the names that I've chosen for my main characters.
Chloe Maude Mackintosh and Carson Andrew James. Both age 15, they go to a private school, and the story starts when they start to "like" each other...
What do you think of these? (The middle names aren't of huge importance to the story or anything.)

I would change Chloe Maude Mackintosh to Chloe Mikaylin Macintosh. The other name is fine.

Both first names are very popular now, so if your story is set in current times, they're perfect. Now, "Maude" is pretty passe, but you said the middle names weren't important. Unless there's some story line involvement, such as a relative she was named for, I'd go for "Chloe Marie." Good luck with the story, sweetie!

Chloe is cute.... Maude? How about Chloe Elizabeth. And the guy name is perfect. Maude sounds like some kind of cheap matirial or a depressing color lol

I like Chloe MacIntosh and Carson Andrews...forget the middle names.
Good luck with your short story. Where do you market? I have only tried one short story with one prospective publisher...it was no-go.

Chloe....I don't even know how to say that???
What about Holly G. Dale for the girl?? And when someone in your story asks her what her middle name is she could say, "Golly, yes Holly Golly Dale!" *laughs all around* then she could give a real name.

I don't care for Maude, especially for a 15-year-old.
The guy's name is okay.

personally i dont like chloe on a human, but like the boys name!
