There is no proven link between wearing a bra a lot and getting breast cancer and bras will certainly not stop your boobs from growing if they're still growing. They also won't stop your boobs from sagging when you are older. Bras just don't make THAT big of a difference in your life.
So really it's just preference. If you have big boobs, it might be more comfortable for you to sleep in a bra. If you're smaller or medium-sized, you might want to let it all hang out at night. :-) (I'm a barely-c-cup and I find it comfortable to sleep without one, personally, but that's just me and i don't have big boobs.) All women's bodies are different, so there's no one right answer, it's just what's comfortable for you. There are no risks either way.

No you shouldn't. A bra when your standing is great against gravity. I am not sure about the breast cancer bit (scare) but there definatly is something about letting them move about for circulation and the lymph nodes, otherwise blocks (a bit like stagnantion) can occur and lumps (not cancer)form .
While I'm at it ,anti -perspirants arn't good- as they block the pores where toxins come out thus resulting in a build up in the breat area!! so anti perspirants and continual bra wearing is a no no. Ladies- massage your breasts for good health (or get your man to do it)

Some people say that if you wear a bra to bed forever and ever that you will eventually have saggy boobies. HA okay so you should not be wearing them to bed unless you do want the saggy boobies. but if your pj's are see through i would suggest wearing a bra until you are under a sleeping bag or blanket. GOOD LUCK!
love,
em

I use to do that, when I was insecure, and around my brother. You don't want to show your nipples to your brother, dad or Any other male family member...I don't think I'd sit around all night bra-less at a sleepover. I guess I may be a little conservative, but it depends on your comfort level. But for sure don not sleep overnight with it, the restriction on your breast is suspected to contribute to the possibility of breast cancer, along with every thing else....

well you dont have to thats for sure! at night is a time for your body to be natural and relax. anything tight at night can stop good circulation round your body and wearing a heavily padded and wired bra can stunt the growth of your boobs, e.g. giving you undeveloped looking cone shaped boobs. I know that you probs dont want to be bearing all at mates houses and sleepovers so its ok to do it then but other wise i dont see why u shuldnt really relax.

I do not think that you should wear a bra at night. I feel that when you sleep you should allow your body to relax. Anything tight fitting is bothersome to me. I do not know if it could be harmful, yet you should allow for some air circulation....

It's a personal preference. I don't wear a bra at night, and sometimes during the day. (I'm only a B-cup).

Its not going to hurt you if you do, if anything like previously said, you will not be so saggy later in life, but if u by any change plan on having children and plan on breast feed it really wont matter anyways, so do what u want is seriously the answer to that

No you don't have too. But I am surprosed your friends were surprised. Because I usually don't unless I am at a sleep over or they come to my house, than I keep my bra on. Soo. . . Its up to you
