i downloaded something and i keep getting pop-ups constantly with pop-up blocker enabled, and i scaned my computer with avg, didnt find anything, i scaned with spyware doctor and it found 100 tracking cookies, 46 adware advirtising, 1 spyware, 1 adware, 10 trojan, and 59 pop-upers. i clicked delete, scaned again with fewer of everthing but same tracking cookies, and the wares, and i used something called ashampoo, nothing is getting rid of these, what do i do?? please help

I agree with the guy below me...scan again and actually delete the files...if it becomes so much of a hassle you will have to reformat your entire computer...so back up all of your stuff on an external hard disk and the when your computer starts up you will have to push an "F" key like F10 or F3 or something to completely erase everything...including the viruses...i had the same problem

Hey! Try this, go to Control Panel, and click internet options. Internet properties menu comes up. Click delete and clear you temporary internet files, cookies, passwords etc. Then restart. If you are using firefox, click tools and then click "clear private data" If you want, you can download windows defender and uninstall the program that is causing the popups. Laterz!

Did spyware doctor, actually delete them, or just find them? Try A squared, it is a free download, it should clean all of those that Ad-aware didn't get, for you.

Turn off 'Sytem Restore' reboot, scan and clean again. Even try booting in Safe Mode then scan. When clean turn 'System Restore' back on.
