A family member would like to buy my used laptop. My only concern with this is that in the past, I have browsed adult websites (no downloading or anything like that). I would prefer they not uncover this fact!

Other than clearing my history/temp. internet files, is there anything else I can do to ensure that they're not going to suddenly see something they shouldn't?

If you got a restore CD with the laptop, boot from that and you can put it back to day one. Otherwise, you will have to reformat the hard drive and reinstall Windows (assuming you have the Windows CD).

Use Norton government wipe that overwrites the information 8 circumstances. merely like Uncle Sam while it sells off previous military laptops. Deleting a report does not do away with it from the force. it only gets rid of the itemizing itemizing. this is all nonetheless there.
