At first, I thought I must DOUBT much more when I'm wrong. Possessing a mindless ego at times, I would assume it would be quite unlikely that I would be wrong!!! Making an error would be doubtful!
But then again, if I was certain that I was wrong (and I'm often quite certain about such things), then I would feel quite confident in being right about being wrong. I don't often make a mistake about that! :-)))
When I feel that I'm right I KNOW that I'm right. I have seen the light! But then... that light begins to smolder...
For it is just at those times that DECISIONS are made with a capital "D". And it has been my experience that the most TROUBLE happens with the consequences of being CERTAIN that I'm right. Like the time that I KNEW that the water was deep enough for diving or the time I KNEW that I had the right airline schedule....or the countless times I was certain that my spouse was wrong!
I hope experience is teaching me to be less certain and have enough healthy doubt. To be more open....But then again, I'm not completely certain about this.... I remember those doubt-ridden moments when I folded the winning hand or I didn't apply for a position that I later found out I would have gotten...
How much "healthy" doubt and certainty one has, seems to be a situation-specific function, closely tied to the consequences involved.
But maybe not. :-))))))

Doubt is a negative emotion. It will show up more when you feel you're wrong. I will think I am right or wrong most of the time and feel doubt or confidence. That is simply how I am wired. Others can be different.

To be honest with you I doubt myself more when I feel I am wrong because If it seems wrong then it is usually wrong but sometimes too when I think I am right I doubt myself too and for me these are the ones I got to watch out for the most because I am not always right far from it actually but there have been times when I thought I was so right about something that I couldn't really see past it until somebody would take me down off of my high horse that is lol. but in truth sometimes my beliefs, values, etc get in the way of being objective and therefore I try to sometimes force my beliefs on to others but as I say somebody like you comes along and takes me off of my high horse and kicks my sorry butt back to reality. lol good thing because I need that now and then. I learn a lesson out of this that hopefully will help make me a better person because truth be told every one needs to be shown different point of views now and then it is how we learn to accept, love and be respectful of others. so thanks for the wonderful question and for kicking my a** now and then. just don't kick it too hard where it leaves bruises that won't heal okay? lol c u l8r enki

Good question Enki :)))
Lets see it depends on the situation of course always :))) but I guess when I know in my heart mind body and soul the true answer of a situation and person I want to doubt it find falsehood to the truth that I must face as being the reality of the situation that I need to come to terms with :)))I think though also I can doubt more so when I know that I am wrong because say I did not study for the 6 hour test and I am just guessing the answers :))) and praying when I know in relaity I am going to fail the exam because I did not study so I guess I do equally both in doubting myself when I am right and when I am wrong because i always have to question everything and think things through ahaha such is life right :)))

I try not to get into situations where I would find myself having strong doubts about my own judgements when I feel that my judgements are right.
That said, I could be in situtations where i would doubt both when i feel I am Right and when I feel I am wrong. How much I doubt would depend very much on my knolwedge and experience of the situation.

If I feel I'm right then there's no doubt at all. If I feel wrong then undoubtedly I'm wrong. I think the doubt comes before one can even consider himself right or wrong. It's that in-between state where absolute is a fragile conclusion.
So if I doubt, then I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong.

Wow, this is a tough question. Or is it a trick question?
Or is there another point?
"Points"
Sometimes
there is no point discussing it
Tell me
what's the point of silence
She said
there is also the turning point
I can turn away from you
The points of their eyes flashed and met
Why don't you count
from infinity to one backwards
if there is no point
He began counting
hoping she would interrupt him
But she closed her eyes and smiled
The point is that he hurt her
and there could be
no end to that accounting
And there are the points in a line
And the line goes straight to hell
without stopping at the red light
And there are the points in a circle
And the circles keeps spinning
until you can't see the point
And there is the point of no return
Sometimes you can draw too fine a point
Oh yes, the pencil point
And if you press too hard
it will break he said
If you want
I can draw a picture
just for you
so you can see the point
she said
If you want
I can draw a picture of every point
you wanted me to see
And that's the moral of the story
or my viewpoint he said
She pointed her finger at him
You, darling, are shot point blank

My father always say : "doubt of your doubts".
Nerveless when you are Sure that you are Wrong you don't need more proof. This can be a complicate discussion because nothing is completely Right or Wrong.
My recommendation double check everything.
: )

I doubt how I got to the conclusion of being right or wrong. Especially when I'm not sure what I'm doing in the first place.
