Why are we so obsessed with fellatio? If two concenting adults are involved, that is their own business, even in the romantic, tender environment of the public toilet. My only concern is that a stall is free if I need to have a dump.

And why is homosexuality such a big issue. A small portion of the population is gay - always has been and always will be. Don't we have bugger (I mean bigger) concerns.

(While I don't like Craig, I wonder if a court would have convicted him? Tapping your feet in the stall? I sing while I dump and tap my feet to the tune.)

Well--as you've obviously noticed, most of these sleazes are from the right-wing (as opposed to normal Republicans). Y/A is too limited to explain wy--but that's to be expected--this kind of deviant behavior is rampant among such social groups. You can do some reading in the sociology of sexuality to see wy (basically it is related to the whole patriarchical ideology and lack of accountabilty for males in such subcultures).

So--I'd suggest the following:
>don't vote for the neoconservatives
>don't allow them to intimidate you with their spurious claims of moral superiority (basically that's their "stock-in-trade")

You must be a true Democrat-- bashing the other guys -- so where were you when your party( and I mean many of your party )was in all those sex scandals- or extortions, or the lying under oath-- Slick bill and his sex with Miss M. while under oath-- better yet the democrats are still raising taxes and fees for the better of the public and you sit back and let it happen- in other words crooks stealing more of your money for their perks or "pork bellies " jmo but you also have yours

Seems to me that he was stopped cold as soon as the news broke. How is that allowing the Country to be flushed? Maybe you're referring to the way the Democrats rallied around and totally supported Gerry Studds when it came out that he was carrying on a homosexual love affair with an underaged congressional page. Do you believe that those skalliwags actually lowered the age of consent to cover for their boy's abherrent behavior?

The answer is "What are we not doing".

People need to do their own research on politicians, and not rely on TV commercials and news reports. Get to know who is running for election before voting for them.

If Craig is the tip of the iceberg, Bawney Fwank is the rear end...

Umm...using the phrase "flushing down the toilet" in connection with Larry Craig is an unfortunate choice of words.

ever notice how liberals forget their side...
marc rich
susan mcdougal
jennifer paula monica, etc.

the strong implication with this question is that this is the republicans fault and its far from it...assuming the fault is placed ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE i agree with you but im inclined to doubt your doing that.

The better question is, why do we let the Republicans flush down our nation
